Metamorphosis: Phase 1 by is a multimedia dance performance that combines shamanic storytelling with interactive visuals and sounds to explore the intersection of family separation, trauma and the well-being of Latinx immigrant women.

Metamorphosis asks the question, how do we alleviate suffering and restore hope through an artistic process that is rooted in Latinx indigenous practices? 

The piece incorporates an authentic shamanic ritual with a healing garden, and includes art workshops with immigrant women living in the Tenderloin.
